It's been quiet around here. Sorry for the lack of updates over the past year. Final year of uni and working on other freelance work tends to take priority and I haven't had much time left over to spend on Pony. Recently I finally got around to setting up my personal portfolio site. You can check it out here. This is where I'll be putting more of my "real world" work for display. Speaking of "real world" work... Recently I've been asked to work on a video game called Robots Can't Jump, which will be shown at a booth at PAX Australia in July. Just uploaded a new Colgate's Quest artwork for AcousticBrony's Colgate saga. This one went through so many iterations before I settled on something I was happy with it's not even funny. It was pretty smooth sailing once I got past that initial block, though. :) It was also nice playing around with a particle generator in After Effects to do the fireflies. Nothing too fancy but, I think, nice. :thumb298058402: Hpefully this tides ya'll over until the next upload... :thumb286087047: So a couple of months back, Hey Ocean! (some of you may know it as Ashleigh Ball's band) put out a call of pixel artist animators. Falling into both of those categories, I raised my hand and offered to help them out. They have just released the product of this - a 8 bit version of the music video for their superb song "Big Blue Wave", accompanied by an awesome chiptunes track.
